Bogut had microfracture on ankle in April
Andrew Bogut - C - Golden State Warriors

Andrew Bogut (ankle) had microfracture surgery in April, sources tell the Contra Costa Times.

Well then. That news is certainly helpful in explaining why Bogut's road to recovery has been so slow, but it doesn't make us feel any better about his outlook. Bogut had a "minor" cartilage issue in his ankle and it was addressed with "a form of microfracture surgery," while the major part of the surgery was to clean out debris. The Warriors are not providing a timetable for his return, and there is no reason to own him right now.
