Report: DeAngelo Williams could land on I.R.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports that the Panthers are "strongly considering" placing DeAngelo Williams (foot) on injured reserve.
After reporting last week that Williams was expected to return in Week 11, Schefter now writes that the strained arch on Williams' foot "might be too much to overcome this year." Beat writer Darin Gantt has backed up the report, which would end Williams' contract season. The Panthers' depth chart behind Williams reads: Jonathan Stewart (concussion), Tyrell Sutton (ankle), Mike Goodson. Keep in mind that Carolina squares off with Baltimore this week.
