Dirk Nowitzki said on Tuesday that he's hoping to resume basketball activities and hit the court in about two weeks as he recovers from knee surgery.
After that he'll likely need to work on his conditioning and get some practices under his belt, so we're guessing he's about three weeks away from playing. If our guess, and it's just a guess, on three weeks is right, it would make sense that Dirk could return for a Dec. 12 game at Boston, barring a setback. He also said he's going to make sure he's fully healthy before he returns so the knee would have to stop swelling completely before he's ready. If he was dropped in your league, it's time to make a move on him.
