The Kings stayed close to the Nets throughout most of Sunday's game, paced by DeMarcus Cousins' season-high 29 points, but sloppy play down the stretch earned them a fifth consecutive defeat.
Cousins attacked Brook Lopez and the Brooklyn frontcourt, making 12-of-21 FGs (including a 3-pointer), while grabbing seven rebounds and handing out three assists. As the icing on the cake, he even blocked a shot for the first time in four games. He'll have a hard time providing an encore vs. Dwight Howard and the Lakers on Wednesday.
