The Nuggets are expected to hold Wilson Chandler (hip surgery) out of action until the end of November.
It's been 6 1/2 months since Chandler's surgery, which has a typical recovery time of eight months, so his deactivation is not surprising. Denver had been pulling him in and out of the lineup, and benching him during back-to-backs, but this seems like a more prudent course of action.
