LaMarcus Aldridge scared by wrist injury
LaMarcus Aldridge - F/C - Portland Trail Blazers
Nov. 14, 2012 - 1:55 AM ET

LaMarcus Aldridge, who surprisingly had X-rays taken on his sore right wrist just before Tuesday's game, hit 5-of-14 shots for 19 points, five rebounds, two assists, a steal and two blocks in an easy win over the Kings.

His wrist is now officially a concern and affected his shooting and rebounding tonight, but the good news is that he played after hurting it in a fall on Monday. Aldridge found he couldn't even shoot the ball in warmups and became "scared." Yes, X-rays were negative, but this still sounds like a potentially serious problem, although Aldridge said after the game that he wouldn't miss time with the injury. Monitor his status over the next few days, as there's a very good chance the Blazers will run more tests on the wrist in the next 48 hours. We're going to call him probable for Friday against the Rockets, as LA says he's going to play.
