Lubomir Visnovsky had just four points and a minus-five rating in the month of October.
By comparison, Visnovsky had eight points in October last season en route to leading all defensemen with 68 points. Visnovsky's comparatively slow start is discouraging, but it's worth noting that the Ducks as a whole have been struggling offensively. Despite Teemu Selanne, Ryan Getzlaf, Corey Perry, and Bobby Ryan all being healthy, the Ducks have scored just 22 goals in 11 games. Anaheim should bounce back and Visnovsky's numbers will improve as a result.
