Mike D'Antoni says he'll coach Friday night

In a radio interview Tuesday, Mike D'Antoni said he'll arrive in Los Angeles on Wednesday and coach the Lakers on Friday against the Suns.
D'Antoni's comments put to bed (for now) any speculation that he could have missed up to two weeks following knee surgery. For fantasy owners, that just means Kobe Bryant and Co. will start learning the SSOL offense sooner rather than later. It bears watching how quickly the Lakers will adjust to D'Antoni's fast-paced plan with Steve Nash sidelined.
