Marc-Andre Bergeron leads all defensemen with nine points in seven games this season.
Bergeron's offensive abilities have never been in dispute, but he was used principally as a power-play specialist in each of his previous two campaigns. So far this season, Bergeron has been averaging 19:08 minutes per game, up from an average of 14:19 minutes in 23 contests last season. Although we don't expect Bergeron to maintain this pace, he should end up with 30-40 points if the Lightning continue to give him 18+ minutes per game.
