Granger puts together solid effort in debut

Danny Granger had nine points on 4-of-7 shooting (including a three), three rebounds and one block in just over 12 minutes Tuesday vs. the Cavs in his preseason debut.
Barring a setback, Granger is expected to up his minutes Friday against Chicago as he continues to recover from an offseason knee procedure. He said that he was not yet 80-90 percent before tonight's game, Frank Vogel admitted that he is concerned about a slow start, and part of the game plan is to play on the knee in order to "break up some scar tissue." That could very well sound worse than it is, but we still dropped him into the middle rounds of our draft board after Monday's report. Our position is unchanged after tonight, and we'll be watching to see if he keeps hitting his benchmarks.
