Knost climbs into the field at Olympic Club

Colt Knost has been added to the published field of this week's U.S. Open.
Knost was the second alternate from the sectional qualifier in Columbus, Ohio, but he was third on the re-allotment list used by the USGA. After first alternate, Justin Hicks, was granted a tee time at Olympic Club, that left the door open for the big fella. Knost will be making his major debut. Jordan Spieth is now the first alternate.
