Favre can have cortisone shot every 6 weeks
Brett Favre - QB - Minnesota Vikings
Oct. 18, 2010 - 11:20 AM ET

Brett Favre believes he is only allowed a cortisone shot in his elbow once every six weeks.

Favre credited the cortisone shot he took before Sunday's win as part of the reason his elbow felt "great." So there has to be some concern that Favre's elbow will gradually become more and more painful before he can get another injection. Still, the NFL's ironman isn't in real danger of missing a game. Limiting his throws in practices will keep him fresh for Sundays.
