Jarred Tinordi has added some physicality to Montreal's lineup that has been absent since Alexei Emelin got injured.
"His physical presence is tough to match. At 6-6, he's a big, physical guy," said teammate Josh Georges after Saturday's win over Toronto. "I think after being sent down and coming back, he has a little more bite in this game. He wants to be a guy who has an impact and tonight he stepped up on the PK and had some big hits." He registered four hits and a plus-2 rating against the Leafs and had an assist, with a plus-1 rating, versus Winnipeg last Thursday. He will probably get the nod to start the playoffs on Montreal's blueline.
