Jeff Deslauriers is headed to Europe with the Anaheim Ducks as their third goaltender.
The four teams headed across the pond are allowed to carry a third goalie in Europe in case of injury, so Deslauriers gets a free trip to Europe. Look for Jonas Hiller and Dan Ellis to take the top two spots this season in Anaheim, leaving Deslauriers to play in the minors once the Ducks return home from Europe.
