Report: Brewers close to hiring Bob Brenly

Sources tell Doug Russell of WSSP in Milwaukee that Bob Brenly is close to agreeing to be the next Brewers' manager.
It sounds like the Brewers are moving pretty quickly here, although Brenly told Russell that he has "nothing to say right now." Brenly led the Diamondbacks to a 303-262 record (.536) from 2001-04, including a World Series championship in his first season at the helm.
