Leafs get Joffrey Lupul back for home stretch
Joffrey Lupul - W - Toronto Maple Leafs
April 17, 2013 - 11:50 AM ET

Joffrey Lupul made his return to Toronto's lineup Tuesday night after missing five games with a concussion.

"I felt fine," said Lupul, who had no points, two shots and four penalty minutes. "I just didn't get into the game early on. Not the best game to come back. It's a loss. We've got to refocus and getting ready for Thursday." Coach Randy Carlyle thought Lupul looked rusty, but he should be better in the Leafs' next contest. Lupul has been limited to 11 games this campaign due to injuries, but he's amassed eight goals and 14 points over that span. His return should help the team, as they try to secure their playoff birth.
