Ryan Moore spun a bogey-free 4-under-par 33-35=68 in the third round of the Wells Fargo Championship to finish his round atop the leaderboard.
He found his four birdies due to a combination of solid iron play and putting, which culminated with a birdie from 4'8" at the difficult par-3 17th. He landed 13 GIR and took 27 putts to the tune of a 1.692 putting average in navigating Quail Hollow. For the week, his 66.7 driving accuracy and 1.619 putting average are among the leaders in their category. Moore is now 13-under 65-70-68=203 for the tournament and in search of his second PGA TOUR victory. His previous best finish in this event was a T33 in 2011.
