Geoff Ogilvy blistered Quail Hollow to the tune of a 7-under-par 32-33=65 in the third round of the Wells Fargo Championship, and he holds the clubhouse lead at 10-under 206.
Ogilvy had a hot day with the putter, as he rolled to a 1.538 putting average and needed just 25 putts to navigate the course. The irons kept him in position to chase birdies all day, as he landed 13 GIR. In fact, the irons have been the bright spot all week as he's landed 81.5 percent GIR. The Aussie's lowest round of the year saw him circle eight birdies to a lone bogey, coming after he rinsed his drive on the par-4 18th. He has positioned him for his first top 10 of 2012.
