Brian Elliott earns his 1st shutout in a year

Brian Elliott saved all 28 Red Wings shots in a 1-0 victory Sunday.
Elliott earned three straight shutouts from March 22-27, 2012 and, until today, he hadn't posted a single shutout since. He entered this contest with a horrid 3.43 GAA and .866 save percentage in 13 games. Elliott is an incredibly streaky goaltender and if this is the start of a new hot streak, he might even be the league's best netminder in April.
