Martin Erat leaves after hard hit into boards

Martin Erat left the game against the Panthers after being hit hard into the boards.
The Capitals are calling it a lower-body injury. The newly-acquired Capital had to be helped off the ice as he couldn't put weight on his right leg after Erik Gudbranson's hit. Erat's head also slammed into the boards, too. The Panthers defenseman received a five-minute major for boarding and game misconduct.
