Christopher Higgins scored his ninth goal of the season and added an assist in the Canucks 3-2 loss to the San Jose Sharks.
Higgins days as a fantasy relevant player have been over since his last season in 2007-08, but he has been solid piece for the Canucks. He is a player that is much better in real life than in fantasy. He can line up in the top six because of his speed, work ethic and solid shot, but he is much better suited as a third liner. He has had moments on the top line with the Sedin's, so keep your eye on him if you need a possible plug-and-play in match-up formats.
