Miikka Kiprusoff may be a little down in the dumps and it showed on the ice Friday night.
He may be a little depressed now that his buddy Jarome Iginla has been dealt away. Kipper may also be feeling the pressure associated with being on the trading block. He is also dealing with a newborn at home. All of that may have contributed to Friday night's performance wherein he allowed five goals on only 20 shots and was pulled after two periods. Joey McDonlad stopped the four shots he faced in the third stanza. It will be interesting to see if Kiprusoff changes his stance about refusing to report if traded at the deadline. Perhaps a fresh start is what he needs. It certainly could do wonders for his fantasy value.
