The Florida Panthers have lost over 210 games to injury this season.
That's an absurd number, trumped only by the fact that Florida has eight players on injured reserve as of Friday morning. One season after winning the Southeast division, the Panthers have come crashing down and it's not not to blame injuries. "It's never easy. It's been a tough year for all of us, but we'll get through it and we'll look forward to moving on and getting better," general manager Dave Tallon said after announcing Ed Jovanovski needs season-ending surgery. At this point, getting better for the Panthers means just staying healthy.
