Jimmy Howard made 22 saves in the Redwings 2-0 loss to the San Jose Sharks.
The offense wasn't there to support Howard's solid outing. He has been an absolute work horse this season, starting 28 of the Redwings 35 games this season. His contract is up at the end of the season and he's looking for a big extension, and posting 2.36 GAA and a 0.919 save percentage will certainly help land him that deal. He's a must start in all formats.
