Ducks disappointed with streak-ending effort
Cam Fowler - D - Anaheim Ducks
March 23, 2013 - 11:00 AM ET

Their 5-1 loss to the visiting Detroit Red Wings was the Anaheim Ducks' first regulation loss since Feb. 25, ending a 9-0-3 stretch in which they gained points in 12 consecutive games.

The teams meet again in Anaheim Sunday and Anaheim defenseman Cam Fowler says the Ducks are looking forward to the rematch. "All good things have to come to an end eventually," Fowler said. "I think we would have liked a little better effort if we were going to watch (the streak) disappear. That's why we get to come out Sunday and get back at it again."
