The countdown to the arrival of Arsenal
ace Cesc Fabregas
has started in Barcelona,
with Sport.es convinced he will be at Camp Nou in ten
months.
Despite Javier Mascherano's arrival from Liverpool, coach Pep
Guardiola has left a space in his team for Fabregas, with the
Blaugrana chiefs under order to sign the Gunners ace next
summer.
Barcelona were hopeful of landing the playmaker this summer, but
Arsenal and boss Arsene Wenger were able to resist offers and turn
Fabregas' head back towards the Emirates.
However, speculative voices in Spain suggest the relationship
between manager and player has become frosty, and Fabregas will be
convinced to pack his bags if Wenger's promises of trophies
fail.
Last month Fabregas was linked with Inter and reports emerged the
club had an offer rejected, and the player's agent told Italian
media joining the Nerazzurri was unlikely.
