Mike Green racks up major minutes in return

Mike Green (groin) was activated from the injured list Thursday and played 22:44 against the Winnipeg Jets.
Only John Carlson played more minutes than Green, who had sat out 10 straight and 13 of the Caps' past 15 games with the ailment. We expected coach Adam Oates to be cautious with Green but it looks like he'll jump right into his old role as the one of the Caps' top two defensemen. Green remains a solid fantasy option if he's healthy, but that's a big if.
