Alex Ovechkin stars in win over Jets

Alex Ovechkin recorded a goal and two assists Thursday as the Capitals blanked Winnipeg by a score of 4-0.
The goal was Ovie's 13th of the campaign and his league-leading ninth with the man advantage. The dynamic winger has now recorded goals in four of his last five contests. Nicklas Backstrom and Marcus Johansson each picked up a goal and an assist in the victory while Troy Brouwer also potted his 11th in the victory.
