Drew Doughty fired a team-high five shots on goal and had two penalty minutes in the Kings' 2-0 loss to the Stars on Thursday night.
It's been a very underwhelming season for the 23-year-old who now has just 13 points in 31 games. There's a ton of potential here -- as evidenced by 16-playoff points during the Stanley Cup run -- but it's a reminder that the rise to fulfilling promise for a young player comes with inconsistency.
