Dan Ellis leaves late after cutting himself

Dan Ellis left Thursday's game very late in the third period after cutting himself.
The cut appeared to be to his leg. Justin Peters had to come in for the final 51 seconds of the game. The Hurricanes did not provide any further injury updates, so this is one the team will provide more information on mid-day Friday. Ellis allowed four goals on 22 shots in the loss to the Devils.
