Zach Boychuk is back with the Hurricanes after Carolina picked him up off waivers from Nashville on Thursday.
The Canes place him on waivers back on Jan. 30. He was claimed by Pittsburgh, where he played seven games, before landing on waivers again and being acquired by Nashville. Boychuk played five contests with the Predators prior to another trip to the waiver wire and coming full circle back to Carolina. That's quite the roller coaster ride. The Hurricanes originally drafted Boychuk 14th overall in the 2008 draft, but he has been unable to carve out a niche for himself at the NHL level thus far.
