Chuck Kobasew responds well to promotion

Chuck Kobasew was moved up Wednesday night from the fourth line by Colorado coach Joe Sacco and the right winger responded with a plus-4 in the Avalanche's 4-3 victory over the Dallas Stars.
"Kobasew was brilliant," Denver Post hockey writer Adrian Dater blogged. "He's a guy I ripped on a lot last year, but I've been impressed with his work ethic this year, despite being relegated to the bottom lines before (last night). Nice to see him get rewarded."
