Mike Green (groin) says he's ready to return

Mike Green (groin) has declared himself fit to play.
"This is taking the safe route," Green said after practicing Wednesday. "At some point you've got to make a decision, and [Thursday] I'm ready." He has sat out 10 straight games with a groin injury and 13 of the team's past 15. Coach Adam Oates said a decision hasn't been made yet if Green will return against Winnipeg Thursday.
