Ryan Jones struggled to play through flu

Ryan Jones had difficulty when he initially tried to play through his recent flu.
"I got the flu and tried to play through it in Colorado then sat the next game," Jones said. "It was tough, it's like being sick any other time and trying to play a hockey game. It was draining and I got fatigued quick, especially in Colorado where the air is thin." Jones missed Edmonton's game against Detroit on Friday, but returned on Sunday. He's still searching for his first goal of the season.
