Joey Hishon to play with Lake Erie Tuesday
Joey Hishon - C - Colorado Avalanche
March 18, 2013 - 8:40 AM ET

Joey Hishon will play in his first game since May 21, 2011 on Tuesday when the Lake Erie Monsters host the Toronto Marlies.

Hishon was drafted 17th overall in the 2010 Draft but a bad concussion during the Memorial Cup on a hit by Brayden McNabb has kept him out of game action for almost two years. Congratulations to Hishon on his return and we hope he has good health for the remainder of his career. Hishon had 87 points in 50 games during his last OHL season. He needs plenty of playing time and will get that at the AHL level.
