Antti Niemi pulled again in loss to Kings

Anttii Niemi was pulled for the second time in five games Saturday as the Sharks were downed by the Kings by a score of 5-2.
Sharks coach Todd McLellan admitted that Niemi wasn't on top of his game and that his troubles were impactful in the game. "They scored on the first shot. When you need a save early in the game, they scored on the first shot," McLellan said. "They got the momentum rolling from there." Niemi has been exceptional this season so he has earned a free pass or two, provided his game doesn't deteriorate consistently.
