Johan Hedberg blocked 20 shots but couldn't earn the win in the Devils' 2-1 loss to the Canadiens on Saturday night.
Hedberg may get a breather very soon as Martin Brodeur could reportedly return to practice by mid-week. Until then, the Devils will continue to turn to him every night until Brodeur gets back. Hedberg has allowed seven goals over his last four starts, a great sign after such a nightmare few weeks early on.
