The NHL has in fact named Sergei Bobrovsky the first star of the week.
He recorded four wins between the pipes for the suddenly surging Blue Jackets to go along with a 0.77 goals-against average, .972 save percentage and one shutout. The goose egg was the first of his NHL career and it came with a solid 30-save performance against Detroit. The Jackets have won five straight contests with Bobrovsky in goal and he's allowed only four shots to get behind him during that span.
