Ryan McDonagh plays a gem of a game Sunday

Ryan McDonagh recorded two assists, two shots, three blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Sunday's win over Washington.
"That's as consistent as he's played in a while," coach John Tortorella said. "He was really confident with the puck carrying it. The standards are set so high for him, a couple of little hiccups in his game and you start thinking, 'What's going on?'" The Rangers need McDonagh to recapture his past form the 2011-12 campaign while Marc Staal is on the sidelines. He logged a team-high 25:58 of ice time in the contest.
