Nolasco injured knee while tying shoe

It has been revealed that Ricky Nolasco tore the meniscus in his right knee when he was attempting to tie his shoe.
Bad news certainly does come in threes, as over the last month the Marlins have lost Chris Coghlan to a shaving cream pie-related knee injury, Ronny Paulino to a suspension for performance enhancers, and now Nolasco in a shoe-tying incident. The Marlins and Nolasco are still holding out hope that the right-hander will pitch again this season, but it seems extremely unlikely.
