Spaling plays on Saturday for the Preds

Nick Spaling returned to action on Saturday after being a healthy scratch.
Spaling played 16:28 minutes as he replaced the injured Patric Hornqvist in the lineup. "I just want to play my game and get back to playing down low and play at the net," Spaling said before the game Saturday. "I need to get to the net and be there for screens and rebounds." He has three goals and five points in 24 games with a poor minus-seven rating.
