With the return of Brad Richards to the lineup the Rangers shuffled their top two lines against the Senators.
Derek Stepan centered the second unit with Ryan Callahan and Marian Gaborik on this wings, while Richards played between Rick Nash and Carl Hagelin on the first line. Both forward units had plenty of chances so it is likely that despite the loss to Ottawa, Ranger coach John Tortorella will leave these units intact.
