Strachan not suspended for hit on Chimera

It appears that Tyson Strachan will not be suspended for his hit on Jason Chimera this past Thursday.
The NHL reviewed the open-ice hit that appeared to target Chimera's head and concluded that it was not worthy of discilpine beyond the penalites assessed in the game. The good news is that Chimera was able to return to the contest after a brief period in the quiet room.
