Left winger David Perron collected four assists to spark the St. Louis Blues to a 6-3 beating of the Coyotes in Phoenix Thursday night.
Perron, who was a +3 in the game, now has 12 assists on the season, so he picked up a quarter of his assist total Thursday. Patrick Berglund scored two goals for the Blues, his 10th and 11th of the season. Chris Stewart recorded three points for the winners, a goal (his ninth) and two assists (ninth and 10th). Like Perron, Stewart was a +3 in the game. So were defensemen Alex Pietrangelo, who scored a goal (fifth) and added an assist, and Barret Jackman, who posted his fifth assist of the season. Also scoring goals for St. Louis were Scott Nichol, his first of 2013 and Vladimir Sobotka (fourth).
