Shawn Thornton resumes fighting ways Tues.

Shawn Thornton picked up his first fighting major Tuesday night since suffering a concussion in a bout with Buffalo's John Scott back on Jan. 31.
He dropped the gloves with Washington defenseman John Erskine late in the first period and finished the contest with seven minutes in the sin bin. In 17 games this season, Thornton has one goal, 26 hits and 34 penalty minutes.
