Dougie Hamilton picked up a point for a fourth consecutive game Tuesday night when he scored on a Boston power play late in the first period.
He has two goals and two assists during his current four-game point streak. Hamilton also finished the contest with a minus-2 rating though. He is still learning the defensive side of the game, which was evidenced by Eric Fehr's game-winning tally in overtime when he split between Hamilton and defense partner Dennis Seidenberg to give Washington a 4-3 victory.
