Stars sign Taylor Peters to entry-level deal

The Dallas Stars have signed 21-year-old prospect Taylor Peters to a three-year, entry-level contract.
The undrafted forward has played parts of six seasons with Portland in the WHL, where he has 13 goals and 37 points in 62 games this campaign. "Taylor Peters brings size, good faceoff ability, strong defensive awareness and adds to our organizational depth down the middle," said Dallas GM Joe Nieuwendyk. "We look forward to watching him develop with the Texas Stars next year."
