NHL picks Ray Emery as third star of month

Ray Emery is the NHL's third star of the month.
Emery had a superb 1.66 GAA and .941 save percentage in eight games last month. His efforts played a huge role in Chicago staying undefeated in regulation time through 20 games. Corey Crawford suffered an upper body injury on Thursday and Emery will serve as the team's starter until Crawford recovers. Once Crawford is healthy, the two should continue to split the Blackhawks' goaltending duties.
