Rick Nash in midseason form despite layoff
Rick Nash - W - New York Rangers
March 1, 2013 - 10:20 AM ET

Rick Nash's return to the lineup paid immediate dividends for the Rangers.

The star winger hadn't played in 11 days, then went out and set a career-high in shots with 12 and had an assist and a highlight-reel goal late in the 4-1 win. He also played 19:15. The Rangers looked like a different team with him on the ice. "He's one of the best players in the league," linemate Carl Hagelin said. "You can see how he brings size, and the other team really respects him and start playing tentative."
