Two points for Erik Cole in Montreal shutout

Right winger Erik Cole ended a slump Saturday night with a goal and an assist in the Montreal Canadiens' 3-0 shutout of the visiting New York Rangers.
The goal was Cole's third of the season. It was the first time he hit the score sheet in 10 games. Cole's assist, on Alex Galchenyuk's third goal of the season, was his third of the season. Lars Eller also chipped in with his second goal of the season.
